Privacy policy

You can use Journey Planner without creating an account. We don't sell your data, and we don't build advertising profiles from your travel plans.

• Trip inputs: the origin, destination, month, number of days, travellers, currency and any optional preferences you enter. These are sent to our itinerary service to generate your plan.
• Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and time of request, used for security and troubleshooting.
• Account data: only if you sign in to the editorial area — an email address and authentication identifier.

We don't ask for your passport details, payment cards or home address. Your generated itinerary lives in your browser session and in the PDF you export; we don't attach it to a personal profile.

To generate itineraries and run the site we use third-party hosting, database and AI model providers. They process your trip inputs only to deliver the result and are bound by their own security commitments.

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep the site working and to keep signed-in editors authenticated. No advertising cookies are set.

Technical logs are kept for a short period for security purposes and then discarded. Editorial account data is kept until the account is deleted.

Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Email hello@getjourneyplanner.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Journey Planner is intended for adults planning travel and is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
